Keystone State Reading Association is pleased to announce an exciting opportunity for graduate students in reading or literacy at colleges and universities in Pennsylvania. Graduate students who are enrolled in masters or doctoral programs in reading or literacy may apply for a grant in the amount of $1500. The grants will be awarded in the spring of 2013 to the top applicants. Graduate students who apply for the grants must be members of KSRA and a local reading council, and must submit an application and letters of reference from professors and employers. We are excited to make this opportunity available to graduate students, and hope that the award recipients will eventually move into leadership positions in our local councils. Please spread the word to colleges and universities you are associated with, and to graduate students who may be interested in applying for the grants. See the KSRA website for application information.
